Professional Learning

Refresher Workshops are a great way to kick off the school year! The majority of these workshops are course-specific, full-day sessions providing teachers hands-on opportunities with their curriculum. Refresher workshops are catered towards teachers who recently trained virtually or are looking for a refresher for their courses and an opportunity to network with colleagues.

Sessions will run from 9:00-3:30, with one hour for lunch, on both days.

Fall Conference is our largest community event with over 400 MA PLTW teachers and leaders convening together in October.  

Fall Conference is an opportunity for MA PLTW educators to network and participate in interactive sessions focused on course-specific, pathway-specific, and broader instructional approaches to use in their schools and classrooms.

Spring PD Day

Spring PD Day is our second largest Professional Learning event, taking place in March and caters to all active PLTW educators. This is a full day event for the community to come together to continue building on learning to close out the school year. 

Sessions are typically longer allowing attendees more time to dig into the content, reflect, and collaborate focusing on course-specific, pathway-specific, and broader instructional approaches to use in their schools and classrooms.
