Professional Learning

Mass Learning Project supports the professional learning of MA PLTW teachers and leaders through numerous in-person and virtual events each year. In partnership with One8, all Mass Learning Project professional learning events are at no-cost to participants.

2025 MA PLTW Spring PD Day

Join us on Tuesday, March 10th, for this FREE event, where you’ll join the MA PLTW Community to connect, learn, and take action to set yourself up for a successful end of the school year!

    August Refreshers (August 12 & 13, 2025)
    • What: In-person, course-specific workshops where educators develop the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to confidently implement the PLTW curriculum from the first day of school
    • Who: Current MA PLTW educators, especially teachers who are new to PLTW
    • When: August 12 & 13, 2025
    Fall Conference (October 20, 2025)
    • What: Large-scale, in-person professional learning event designed to help MA PLTW educators jumpstart their school year with practical ideas and tools that can be implemented immediately in their schools
    • Who: Current and perspective MA PLTW educators
    • When: October 20, 2025
      Spring PD Day (March 10, 2026)
      • What: Large-scale, in-person professional learning event designed to help MA PLTW educators dig into the curriculum, reflect, and plan for the future  
      • Who: Current MA PLTW educators

      One8 Applied Learning Grant Convening (April 2026)
      • What: In-person onboarding for MA PLTW 2026-27 grantees
      • Who: Educators from schools that received grants to implement or expand their PLTW programming

        Virtual Community Events
        • What: Online gatherings, held between in-person events, for the MA PLTW Community to connect, learn, and share ideas!    
        • Who: Current MA PLTW educators
